Learn more about how to sort out problems when rock climbing
This ClimbOut course offers participants the opportunity to learn the techniques needed in case things go wrong whilst rock climbing on a multi-pitch pitch crag or tidal sea cliff. We will use basic self help skills such as prusiks and tying off belay plates and apply them to complex scenarios such as not being able to lower a fallen or stuck climber to the ground.
This ClimbOut course is for independent outdoor climbers who want to take their climbing skills further. You should be a competent climber and belayer and be able to tie off your belay plate, tie prusiks and tie an Italian hitch. This course can be combined with the 1 day beginner self rescue course as a progression for a 2 day course.
