A last chance to dance with your new friends before the festival closes. Bowreed and caller Steph West are back for 2026 to lead us in more raucous queer joy.
Time: Sunday 8-10pm (two 45 minute sets with a break in between)
Location: Main Stage area
What to bring: Yourself! Sequins and a sense of humour encouraged (two left feet welcome)
What is it?
A ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) is traditionally a Scottish gathering that involves music, dancing, and socializing. The term comes from the Gaelic word meaning “gathering” or “party”. Danced in pairs and groups, they are a joyful, informal way to dance together. Our caller, Steph, will explain the dance steps so no prior experience is needed.
Who’s it for?
Everyone! We know the ceilidh was a bit squished and hectic last year. This time we have a bigger tent, meaning everyone can get involved comfortably.
Have questions?
Our caller, Steph, will be available 20 minutes before the ceilidh to chat through any access requirements and answer any questions. If you want to talk to anyone before this, ask a crew member, we’d love to help.
