Sheddy, Patagonia’s Worn Wear Trailer is coming to ClimbOut. Fixing the stuff you already own and using it for many seasons reduces overall consumption, which is good for your wallet (more money for snacks) and even better for the planet.
Got some gear that’s seen one too many epic days? Bring us your most loved piece of clothing and we’ll repair it for free, whatever the brand.
The main drop-off time will be Friday evening 18:00-21:00, if there is more repair capacity over the weekend there will be additional drop-off times. Pop by the stall to ask!
Worn Wear operates on a first come, first served basis – there’s only so much we can fix in a weekend! One clean item per person. Clothing only, no shoes, boots, luggage or hard goods. More info here https://wornwearclimboutfestival.splashthat.com/
Kit Swap
Bring your unwanted outdoor gear to the Alpkit Kit Swap! Swap your old or no longer used kit for something different to give a new lease of life (no safety gear, ie climbing equipment and helmets).
For every item you bring, you’ll receive one token, or you can purchase more (£5 per token) with all proceedings going towards the Alpkit Foundation.
Any kit left at the end of the Festival will be donated to Alpkit’s Continuum project. The Continuum project will give your kit a new purpose through local charities, projects and companies to help more people get outside
