The Learn to Lead Trad Climbs course will provide you with the skills you need to participate in traditionally (trad) protected climbing, including an introduction to leading simple trad climbs. This course is also ideal if you are looking to improve your confidence or refresh your personal trad leading skills with the aim of helping you to become an independent climber.

Minimum Age: 14
Pre-requisite experience: To book on this course you must have seconded a minimum of 20 outdoor rock climbs at Very Difficult (VDiff) or above, led 20 climbs (indoors or outdoors) and be a competent lead belayer.
Required equipment: Please bring your harness, helmet, rock shoes and belay plate. Please bring all other climbing equipment you have such as a climbing rack (trad), rope, slings, carabiners and quickdraws.
