Hi I’m Mike, an Informal educator Based in Exeter, Devon. I am one of the founders of ClimbOut and one of the Volunteer coordinators. I am also the founder of Let’s Go Belay and Boulder Together CC. I am a passionate advocate for creating spaces for LGBTQ people especially in the outdoors.
I have been climbing for over 20 years with a particular passion for Trad and sea cliff climbing.
As one of the founders I have loved seeing ClimbOut growing from a throwaway conversation in a video call into one of the friendliest, most inclusive, and queerest spaces I have the pleasure of being a part of. I love the excitement that ClimbOut brings every year and just the joy spending 3 days surrounded by over 300 queer climbers every year brings!!
