Hello! I’m Robert from London. I initiated the idea of ClimbOut with our partner BMC where I’m involved with their EDI work. I chair ClimbOut’s coordinating group. I got into rock climbing via mountaineering in the Alps.
My interest in climbing really took off after I helped found NotSoTrad the UK’s first LGBTQ climbing club. I like longer routes, particularly in the Lake District and North Wales.
ClimbOut has been such an inspiring event, working with a great group of like-minded people to deliver a festival which brings so much inclusive joy to so many people.
