Hi I’m Robert. I instigated ClimbOut and am proud to see it developing so well with the support of committed volunteers to enable so many diverse people take part in outdoor climbing. I’m also a founder member of NotSoTrad, the UK’s first LGBTQ+ climbing club. I chair ClimbOut’s board.
I started rock climbing relatively late – aged 45 (I’m now in my 60s). I love long mountain routes and sea cliffs.
ClimbOut has been so positive for me. I’m most motivated to see other people develop through their climbing and more generally.
