Hi, I’m Matilda (or M). Based in Devon, I pitch in on various bits of ClimbOut but I’m especially passionate about facilitating our inclusivity and diversity work.
I love the full body movement of climbing and as someone who works therapeutically, I’m fascinated by the ways that climbing, community and the outdoors can support us to heal and find joy. I have a soft spot for beachside cliff climbing, like all “uppy climbing” (my technical term!), this sits interestingly alongside my lifelong fear of heights. I’ve been genuinely blown away by how ClimbOut has grown. I love working with such a passionate, open hearted bunch of people and realising that celebration of queer joy in climbing.
