Dry Tooling Workshop
The Cairngorms is home to some of the best winter climbing the UK has to offer, and one route into this weird and wonderful strand of climbing is through Dry Tooling!
Our dry Tooling workshop, hosted by Petzl, gives you a chance to use Axes and Crampons, and have a go at pulling some awesome shapes on Glenmore Lodges very own tailor-made Dry Tooling Wall.
Time:TBC
Location: The Dry Tooling Wall @ Glenmore Lodge
What to bring: If you want to try crampons you’ll need to borrow some B3 boots from the Stores at Glenmore Lodge (please head to stores 15mins before your session to sort out some boots), plus a warm jacket! (the wall is unheated). Everything else is provided and no prior experience needed!

Better belaying Workshop
Belaying is the most important job we do in climbing, so it’s good to know more than the basics. With this workshop, hosted by Climb Scotland (a program by Mountaineering Scotland to inspire people across Scotland to get climbing), we aim to give you the advanced skills and knowledge to keep your climber off the deck!

Location: The Climbing Wall @ Glenmore Lodge
What to bring: Harness & Belay plate.
