This session will be split with some time rope climbing and some time bouldering. We will run through various jamming techniques and associated gear sizes by feel, how to fully relax on holds and some tricks for resting or placing gear. There will also be a discussion on route visualisation and practising getting comfortable with falling and trusting gear.

Pre-requisite experience: Aimed at experienced and independent climbers who can already competently lead, tie in, and belay. Attendees will already be climbing in the grade range HVS-E3 / 6a-7b/ V3-V7, and looking to improve their grade and identify limiting factors.
Required equipment: Attendees should have climbing shoes, harness, helmet, belay device, rope, and rack (trad). If you are missing any of these, please let us know in the appropriate section in the booking form.
